Every year once the Parliament House is decorated for the Christmas season with many hundreds of thousands of lights we have a Free event where Santa arrives to turn on the lights and give out presents then a free concert of Christmas Carols from the Mistletones choir.
After the Light up the Courtyard there was pictures with Santa that the money raised went to Hope and Help. If you got your picture taken with Santa there is a good chance you will see it here. |

This was the first time for this party, with a Fire & ICE costume contest for a 2 night stay at The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa Fort Lauderdale, so there were many imaginative people roaming the property enjoying A Fire Bar - An ICE Bar with $3.00 Frozen Drinks and Tiki Torches lighting the Courtyard.
Joining The Footlight Players was adult film start Robert Van Damme, Macavity and Kitana Infiniti and Co, Oh MY. By the size of the crowd, the multitude of costumes and the sound of the roar of the crowd, I'd say it's a good bet we will see this event again! |

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!
The PH was packed to the rafters most in some form of white. The white characters roamed everywhere, the energy was as high as I have seen it in a good long while. The crowning Jewel was possibly the best drag show I have seen, with MacCavity, Joy Brooks, Miz Cory and Tori Holdens sang live her new song "She's a Queen" with The Footlight Players scattered throughout to a giant finale with the giant pool stage filled to capacity and fireworks going off over the heads of the many thousands. With real Christmas carolers singing to the crowd, Santa and his gorgeous reindeer giving out tons of presents to the crowd and then the show with The Footlight Players!

All I can say is WOW! GIANT, LIKE GAY DAY GIANT!
Halloween is always one of the biggest parties of the year! We normally take $2,000.00 and split it into 2 nights, the Saturday before Halloween and the night of Halloween with each nights costume contest winner getting $1,000.00. THIS YEAR WE DOUBLED IT and made it WINNER TAKE ALL! Massive crowds on Friday, Oct. 31 Halloween Night. Then we did it again the next night on Saturday, Nov. 1st. to equally impressive crowds! I took pictures both nights plus many were sent in. I have put them all in this one photo album. If you were in costume there is a very good chance you will see yourself here. There were SO many people and SO MANY GREAT COSTUMES that not all got pictures but many did, check them out, the costumes were wonderful! |

| Saturday the biggest night for entertainment and the many thousands were just that, ENTERTAINED! The entire place was packed from the lakeside adult film stars pavilion and giant Foam Pit to the Theater, the buses kept rolling in with load after load of reveling Gay Day'rs. The 10 piece "SoulFunktion" Band was a great kick off to the night, The Footlight Players were in rare form and topping it off with the most amazing concert ever, En Vogue! The crowd roared loader then I have ever heard and filled En Vogue with tears of gratitude. Oh, the harmonies they produced, if you missed this, you missed something special. What a diffrence it has made, the weather was great, not a drop of sweat, the crowd huge, Lake Eola was PACKED and the parade was long and beautiful! |

The cost was only $10.00 and all the funds raised were for the always fabulous Fringe Festival. It really kicked off the Saturday before the first Halloween contest in scary style!
